No, the motor moves both ways I just have to swap the connection over on the solenoid

ive just finished installing my winch on my 90, its a warn 9.5xp with a albright solenoid in the engine bay. yesterday when i was winching i was pressing the winch in button on my controller and nothing was happening, no winch movement and no clicking from the solenoid, after 4-5 times pressing...

ive fitted some +5" pro comp shocks to my 90, and being a bit of a ding bat ive lost one of the rubber boots would it be ok to leave the shock with no boot or is this risking damage? also a tyre question. im hoping to order some new tyres next month, ive been looking at the insa special...
