    D2 heater blower on full

OK, so the saga continues.......another capacitor down. As it turns out, the cheeky little rascals at Landover have hidden a little 2amp fuse on the underside of the black plastic moulding, which is only accessible by de soldering the resistor (the little round thing with 2 prongs). i have now...

    Disco 2 Manual/Tiptronic gearbox

Just for information, The other thing you need to watch for is modern relays sometimes have a diode these can throw an error in the TCU. The old school relays work better.

As also previously said make sure you have the correct terminals on the relay. If all is correct and you still have issues then there is a fault elsewhere...

    D2 heater blower on full

You are probably right on the correct terminology, I have only called it a resistor as all the threads and info I have read about this have used the same term. In plain terms it's the little round thing in the middle of all the cooling fins. 👍

Heater blower will only work on max. I have read other articles on this where people have replaced the resistor and all was well. I too went down this road replaced the resistor but still the same problem. A little more playing with the multimeter and it turns out it was the little aluminium...
