    Taking a Break

I'm taking a break till next week when most children will be back in school, hopefully the two pricks who have been ruining this forum will have some homework to do, instead of trying to see who can get the most posts. Every single thread has been turned into some kind of play school waffle. So...

Is there some way of getting YELLA DISCO to submit constructive feedback, or banning him from all forums? I have yet to find a sensible remark or reply from this CLOWN there is only so much chat that can be put down as funny, it then gets boring. Please GO AWAY and play on the runway and talk...

    Thieves and sat nav.

Lots of you will maybe have sat nav (such as tom tom etc) theft of these devices is now the number one in the toerags top ten! Here's a tip, always take the device out when leaving the vehicle, and also take the holder off the screen or dash, they will still break in hoping you have left it in...

    Remedy for wet cubby.

Before shelling out for new seals etc try this, if it's only the cubby hole that is wet inside drill some holes in the lid, it has worked for me. It was a build up of condensation on the under side of the lid that was the problem, it didn't happen in the warmer months, but after having the...

    New Freelander model.

After reading so many dismal stories, how about this. There is to be a brand new Freelander coming out in 2007, it will be based on the new Ford Focus floorpan and have engines supplied by Volvo. With Land Rover being 100% owned by Ford they say this new model will be free of all the previous...

    Td4 max speeds.

Are the claims of top speeds taken on the flat or downhill? Also how many have had a speedometer check? There are not many cars where they give a spot on mph, as any car mag will verify. After changing tyre sizes ie. 16in to 17in or 15 to 16 it is advisable to get your speedo checked for accuracy.

    High speed driving.

I have noticed quite a few threads relating to driving Freelanders(petrol&diesel) at speeds they were never designed for. They are basically workhorses, and when used as such will not give you many problems. A vehicle is designed for specific use. If you need to drive at 80/90 or more then a...

    Problem...any tips.

Well, after getting the right fuel filter from Paddocks it was into the garage to change them. Dropped everything from under the wheel arch, undone quick release couplings, and thought I'll have this done in about half an hour. (Wrong) no way could I get the old filter to move out of the black...

    Td4 fuel filter sorted.

I have now sorted the problem with my fuel filter. Even though I sent Paddocks the correct info they sent me the wrong fuel filter. I managed to find all the info on the Freelander 2002.5 &2003/ Discovery 2003 model year update on http://calamarco.com/hippo/LRL0578ENG.pdf it's all there from...

    Fuel filter on Td4.

Hi, I am a new comer to the land rover world. I have a 2003(Sept) Td4, I have successfully changed the air filter, oil filter with oil change but cannot find the fuel filter. The one Paddock sent me is a screw on canister type. I had a look under the rear wheel arch but I think that is only the...
