My snorkel of the same type needed of a push to meet up to the A pillar. So if you remove a A pillar bracket there may be a little flex to get the windscreen a pillar trim off without removing the snorkel completely

If you want to make it easy put the blanking plate on the end of the egr cooler nearest the valve. leave the rest in place. or like ferry says remove and put plate straight on manifold. either way you only need one plate.

Rubbed mine down and they are actually pitted, so bear this in mind if you want a smooth painted finish. Going for rator finish on mine.

Well after posting the last pic of the centre console, I decided a freshen up was needed, bought ones with the base plate for the gear gator and metal frame for the hand brake so no messing around as my gear gator was broken and floating around any way. Then took her for another little holiday.
