Hi very new here!!, I’m really worried now! I’ve just acquired a Freelander1 in mint condition for its age 04 plate V6 with only 36000 miles on the clock! I know very little about car mechanics I fear now that I’ve made a huge mistake! I’ve noticed already that it’s got different make tyres...

Sorry to be a complete bore but one more question about All terrain tyres ....would I be able to put 235/60/18,s on instead of my 235/50/18 rims .... I’m so sorry but I just don’t get this tyre thing!.... will they fit in the wheel arch without rubbing on anything! Think I may have found that size!!

Well I live at n the remotest part of Wales. There are no fast roads for miles so my mpg is going to be off the wall!

The cam belt was also done by Land Rover I’ve seen the invoice!

Omg... really!!?.... going to have to tell a few fibs to my wife then!..... the Cam belt was done n 2014 only 2500 miles ago. Do you think that’s ok?

It has a very nice engine have to say! Mine has only done 36000 on a 04 plate and only done 2500 miles since 2014! Yep I’ve noticed that the fuel gauge goes down fast but what the hell Im still on the first tank I’ll worry about driving economy later!!

Thank you 17’s sound a great idea! Shame really as the 18 alloys are in perfect condition but they won’t be for long after our farm tracks! Just need steel wheels now! Wonder where a can find ones that can go straight on?
