    P38A NOW SORTED! Tyre sizes

I still have a MINT brand new 100% refurbished full set of 5 Vogue SE five stud P38 alloys with 18 inch Goodyear Efficiency grip tyres on them for sale if anyone out there wants a BARGAIN. 1 tyre is brand new and the other 4 have at least 6mm on them. New centre caps on them also. They were...

Good luck with what ever you decide. FYi, my pal has owned 3 of the 5.0 supercharged models in the last 6 years and he loves them albeit he is loaded and only keeps them for 2 years and trades them in for another new one plus he runs them through his business too so running costs for him do not...

Thanks, she was indeed a real minter and the reason i also bought her from the 1 and only owner pal of mine and the colour combo was the best. Insurance cost me £600 with Admiral on my multicar policy so not too bad but the £600 road tax killed it for me.

Sadly the prices of the newer stuff models is not going to drop anytime soon because there is actually a surge in demand for them at the moment across the entire model range and this is due to lots still being stolen ( Manchester area currently ) and a world wide shortage of computor chips my...

The newer the model you can afford the better i say. Those big ugly gear sticks just look stupid IMHOP and dated now. The fresher looking interiors are far better and it makes you also feel like your driving a much newer model too. Go for it if you want one but don't be pushed in to anything by...

Your very welcome and at the end of the day buddy go with what you want to do as its your money your spending not ours albeit its always best practice to seek sound advice which you have done up front from someone who has actually owned one and not an armchair supporter who hasn't. LOL. Lots of...

The 8 speed box is a real gem and makes a world of difference albeit too needs its oil changing as per the book for longevity. The road tax is a killer on the m all TBH and personally i would not touch a RR sport. Don't like them, far too chavvy for me. The traditional shape is best. I also...

Deffo Mark and to be fair if they are looked after and driven sensible they will return a decent power to weight ratio MPG figure just as any car will TBF. Just makes me laugh also when chaps have to ask the wife FIRST before they buy too!!! WTF is that all about. LOL. For a laugh last week i...

Great cars Mark if you get a good one which has been looked after and serviced properly to the book as mine was. I enjoyed owning her albeit the road tax killed it for me in the end as i would only have been doing around 2000 miles a year ( long runs ) in her so i sold her and made a healthy...

You will need very deep pockets and at least a 5k emergency repair fund and yes keep away from the V6 as the cranks do indeed SNAP. Most are for sale FOR A REASON which you also have to take in to account UNLESS you know of a car which has been loved and pampered and the owner is only selling...

Agreed 100% and i also forgot to mention as an owner of one of these superb L405's is that in addition to all the other running costs the bloody road tax is high. Pre stop start = £600 a year and post stop start about £400 now with the 1st April tax rise and i think the petrol supercharged v8 is...

As a REAL owner of one of these lovely cars all i will say is DONT BUY ONE because you will not be doing the car any favours at all with that usage and in no time at all it will go wrong on you leading to massive repair bills. Also AVOID the pre 2015 cars as they are riddled with niggles again...

    What battery for L405

Its usually all the French crap cars that go wrong not the German's. But then the French would always blame the German's wouldn't they. LOL

    What battery for L405

Not so actually. All related componants are designed for on/off use in a constant use scenario. If you think what your stating then what car/s have you owned with stop/start that have had lots of failures then?? do tell.
