My 03 TD4 will be around £340 a year to Tax. The other day I filled up and as i drove away i thought of how much it was costing to run my new beloved and I consisered selling up and geting a more economical car, Then i thought FCUK IT! Im not letting these narrow viewed idiots rule my life...

looks like my TD4 tax will go upto £300 next april. Not too bad but they are robbing ****ers, really how much more money do they want from us. They are hitting us in the pocket for everything. As far as i see they are constantly picking on the working man.

I own up, the DVLA website hasnt been updated! But in reading on other websites (BBC NEWS) it lists my 03 TD4 Manual is still only £190 per year. However mine only produces 205 G/KM, how come your auto produces 240G/KM?

Looked on the DVLA website and it lists tha band G only applies to cars registered after 23/03/06. Id be inclined to trust what it reads on the website and not in some garbage of a newspaper!

Ive been looking at facelifting my lander and have been looking at a bumper with fog lights fitted, but the surrounds are usually missing, where can i get these from and are they expensive? Ive already come across some cheap foglights BTW. Thanks!

As i posted a while ago i bought a new freelander TD4, and was met with replies along the lines of "Gaylanders are crap and unreliable...be prepared to re-mortagage for repair bills" etc... But as far as i can tell The TD4's are pretty reliable with no other common faults than any other car...

i only picked my freelander up on sunday but i thought about facelifting it before i even got it home:D , what parts would i need to collect for the conversion? also what year should the facelift parts come from,any specific year?

ive just bought a TD4 and i would expect to have paid around £5000 for this car and defo no less than £4800. But obviously it all depands on condition, history etc...? I would just say avoid garages they'll have your pants down!
