Is it possible to remove all the immobilizer stuff and have the engine run on the standard ECU? I'm going to weigh in my range rover but would like to keep the engine for a future project.

Has anyone tried ebc slotted discs and yellow stuff pads? Any feed back? Im getting brake fade when towing and I'm fairly sure my brakes are shot. I would like to buy british but they are £4-500 for both front and rear. If they last better i will get them as im keeping the car long term.

My l322 needs a few bits sorting so I'm contemplating getting another tow barge to rotate as and when it breaks. It might prove to be financial suicide but which one is the least unreliable (easiest to live with) out of the. P38 or disco 2? Both would be V8 and auto.
