P38A Tale of the unexplained..... Que music.

Interesting symptons,.. just like mine. I put it down to dirty fuel at first and changed the filter and put some redex through the system. It still happens occaisionally and the only clue is the same fuel fault on the Nanocom. For me it started about 7 or 800 miles after an engine change and I...

    Discovery 2 Remote Problem

I have similar problems sometimes, .... two things to be aware of, even with a good battery the key isn't always 'sending' ... make sure the red LED is lighting up when you press the key. galvanised chassis 88" v5 sais 109

I can tell you the 109 can't be 'corrected' to 88. If you contact DVLA they will simply nullify the existing V5 and registration number. What the previous owner should have done (assuming he rebuilt it as an 88 ) was actually an SVA. Now you are stuck, options are to sell it as is to someone who...

Converting a P38 to tow a fifth wheel caravan

Lightweight artics is a big and contentious subject. There is not necessarily any need to go to 'Murrica' .... the 'Fifth Wheel Co.' in N. Wales will tell you where its at in UK terms. Older drivers may benefit from C1+E entitlement on their licence which can give a useful increase in train...
