    Defender radio

Nah, there was nothing there. Broke into the wiper wire in the end. Just finished and feeling pretty smug as I have built a cubby box and covered it in leatherette from an old bean bag. Mounted it on that. Radio cost £12 off ebay and it has blue tooth and phone... Bargain!. Speakers are mounted...

    Defender radio

I am about to start fitting a radio into my FFR 1995 Defender. Any suggestions as to what wires to break into. Need a permanent live for the radio memory and a live through the ignition for the power. There's no handy wires behind the fuse box unless I drop them all out by unscrewing the fuse...

Thanks for your replies... Think I'll save up for an engine swop... Shame really as the NAD has only done 35k verified miles... Cheers, Mike

    Introducing myself

Hi, it is 12v, it was converted back in 2011 according to the paper work when it was decommissionined from the MOD. Thinking of using a 4 bolt steering box and buying a TD5 PAS pump off ebay. What do you think? Any advice greatly received, Mike

    Introducing myself

Got her last Sunday. Was a 4 hour drive to get her home but she never missed a beat. I have had 8 Defenders and Discos in the past but I think this is a keeper!

    Introducing myself

Hi, just wanted to say hello and get myself on here. This is my new acquisition, a FFR NAD 2.5 1994 Defender. I'm looking forward to chatting and in particular discussing fitting PAS as my wife drives this as well as me and is struggling with the heavy steering.
