    Restoring rusty bolts

Out of interest what size bolts would you stock up on? X50 M8 and x50 M10? Then cut them down to whatever size you need?

    Restoring rusty bolts

What is your method for restoring nuts and bolts to be re-used? Do you just wire brush them or do you soak and wash them in anything?

    Windscreen hinge bolts/bracket?

Does anyone know if these can be replaced? I can find the hinges for sale but not the brackets/bolts. One side has rusted through completely and the otherwise doesn't look too far off. 1986 110

Does anyone have a photo of the inside windscreen attachment?

Cool. Cheers for that. I'm trying to find a photo of the metal ideally. Not so much the bracket itself.

Does anyone have a photo of the inside windscreen attachment?

Bit of a strange request. I've had to do quite a bit of work to the bulkhead welding in new corner pieces and pillars. I'm trying to find a reference pic for the inside gap where the windscreen connects on each side of the bulkhead on a 1986 110 or similar. I'm going to have to fabricate a piece...

What are people using to protect bare metal after doing repairs?

@wireman that looks like a really good price. The stuff I've been using for the tub and back half of the chassis costs that much for 1 litre which is why I wanted to find an alternative.

What are people using to protect bare metal after doing repairs?

@Shippers what rust converter are you using? I've got lots of phosphorus acid which seems to work great. I just wouldn't want that to react to the red oxide or zinc primer. Phosphoric Acid

What do you think of red oxide? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/172466872815

What are people using to protect bare metal after doing repairs?

I need to order 2 outriggers and tie braces and after the work I'm looking for something to coat the metal along with the rest of the front half of the chassis. What rustproofing protection would you recommend for rusty and clean metal? I've heard good things about some protection which work...

    1986 blue 110

Where can I find out the colours for a blue '86 110 before I order any paint for my bulkhead build? I've looked through the internet a few times and mostly found old posts with dead links. I'd like to find all the blue colours from that year for that particular model so I can have a choice of...

    Has anyone lowered a LR?

Such an odd thing to do. If that's the one you mean.

    Has anyone lowered a LR?

Option 5 turn it into a pickup :)

    Has anyone lowered a LR?

When it went in it was only the back end that was just shy of cleaning so maybe a dip in the ground is the simplest solution

    Has anyone lowered a LR?

    Problem solved.

    Has anyone lowered a LR?

Possibly not the clearest angle of the garage. Plenty of room at the moment but won't be long before everything starts going back together again. Simplest solution might just be a carefully selected dip in the ground with a pneumatic drill.

    Has anyone lowered a LR?

That's definitely the other option. I was looking at it earlier wondering if it's possible.
