    P38A P38 audio system.

pondering on my old P38, making the proverbial list of things needed to get it on the road.. Obviously audio isn't really that important but If i do get it on the road it would be nice to have the long journeys to work not be in total silence.. Has anyone found a work around for the HK...

    Classic £170k Kingsley RRC.

Reviewed by Harry's garage. Really struggling to understand both the car and the pricetag.. Problems that stand out to me is primarily the 3000rpm stall converter I can sort of understand the reasoning if it was a TVR or some kind of performance car, but on a 2 ton brick, Lowered/stiffer...

Hmm. Seems I have found my issue with the blower motor! I seem to have an issue opposite to most, in my case the Fuse for the motor was not in, so naturally I dug out a 30amp fuse and popped it in... Couldn't really be that easy? Well I jumped in and turned the key to position 1 and BRRRRR...

    P38A Ride quality.

Gents/Ladies. Just a query regarding the ride quality of the P38, I have very stiff shocks which have made the ride rather choppy, I've since bought a softer set and will be replacing them when I have the time.. Whats your ride like? Is it like floating on a cloud or the complete opposite...

    P38A Water Leak!!!

I seem to have acquired a nice rain water leak at the front of my headliner just above the sun visors. #1 The sunroof drains are clear #2 Not 100% positive the sunroof frame hasn't rotted and water isn't leaking on to the underside of the glass, and somehow leaking on to the headliner, maybe...

P38A EAS Heat Extraction - Vents?

Hmm Been pondering this for a while, I did an EAS overhaul on a RRC LSE a good few weeks ago and those have the EAS compressor and valveblock mounted on the chassis with a whacking great vent in the side, and under operation they tend to stay quite cool.. For obvious reasons.. The P38...

    P38A Testing EAS Height sensors.

For anyone interested here is me guide for checking height sensors on the P38..:D So what is the EAS height sensor I hear you ask? In basic terms it is a it's a potentiometer used as a potential divider.. To check whether it is still functioning correctly you're going to need a...

EAS Compressor Running Temps. + Another fookin fault

Having rebuilt the valveblock and EAS compressor I'm curious as to the heat that these compressors pump out. "ha". After a run with the car in standard, alternating between standard/Motorway it was sat at 68c, A suggestion from an esteemed member was to leave it locked in Motorway, which...

    P38A Bastard

2 things happened today.. #1 EAS plummeted to the bumpstops on the way home.. #2 some clueless cow in L322 was parallel parking behind me and shunted me in the arse which has warped my bumper all to shít.. Had to bite my teeth with that one.. I'm pretty sure the valveblock needs...

    LSE vs P38 interior room

The LSE is 183in long with a 108in wheelbase The P38 is 185.6in long with the same 108in wheelbase. What i've noticed recently is how much rear legroom the LSE has compared to the P38 even though the P38 is larger! Why is the P38 smaller inside? Bad packaging or am I overlooking something?

P38A ZF4HP24/22 Fluid Change Procedure.. "How To"

Right I've finally got around to doing a proper change on my Autobox in my 4.6 P38.. The first port of call is to choose what oil to put in, if you're a nerd "like me" you look at the Technical data sheet of each particular oil to mainly check A- Viscosity index B- Brookfiled Test C Pour point...
