Disco 2 Fault 04-02 DCV2 CURRENT OUT OF RANGE and RED light

Hi All, haven't posted for long time but last week-end I got two time red ACE light blinking and beeping and wish to know if I should worry about it. Both times happened while returning home and driving uphill on curvy road, only 15 minutes between them, first time i could reset it with...

    Disco 2 Shockers

Last year I replaced my 2 years old Monroe with Bilstein. Big mistake, now I have such a rough ride so cannot use my 18 inch wheels, only 16 inch wheels with a bit lowered pressure. The used Monroe's I gave them to a friend, who complained rough ride. After installing them, he was so happy. If...

    Disco 2 Rear Suspension issue

For sure is to late to say, but in my case I drove very slow home, then deflate air spring with nanocom, this way my air spring was fine.

    Disco 2 Rear Suspension issue

Had exactly the same issue. New sensors will cure it.

    Disco 2 Stock ride height

Can you please tell me what springs you installed, I mean part code and if genuine or britpart? I have tough times to find a replacement for my original white/purple, so any advice counts. To answer to this thread: - front with new Pink/Brown springs 510mm - too stif for my taste, looking to...

Disco 2 Tuning - Viezu UK

Not sure what dictionary are you using, but don't be afraid to use your own words. If your explanations will make a sense, that will be plus. So, from your "dictionary", if someone comes from a part of the world, you automatically understand his way of thinking... Hmm... I will stop here...

Disco 2 Tuning - Viezu UK

Can you please refine a bit "I know where are you coming from" and what do you meant by it? Not the rest of your understanding, because that that is quite basic. Just want to know if you are " geographical biased"

    TD5 Crank Damper

No wobbling on my damper, just belt required. You might need to replace damper if wobbles, probably the inside rubber is broken

    TD5 Crank Damper

Yes, in my case when belt was not genuine, I had same chirp. Feared too about pulley, but genuine belt cured it

Help on consumer rights - faulty part returned to UK shop

I have updates on this. One member got in touch with them directly on this manner and I thank him public here. This made paddock sensitive, so they reimburse the money for the sensor. Not for shipment, but is mentioned in their "terms and conditions", so probably they need me to remind them...

Help on consumer rights - faulty part returned to UK shop

Didn't think either that I should prove that a connector should have all pins :) But if it helps, have a look at one pic with both sensors with connectors side by side, judge yourselves. Follow pin 4. Tough to be a customer...

Help on consumer rights - faulty part returned to UK shop

Two identical sensors, same manufacturing date, no difference left-right as they are reversible. Original sensors from LR, not aftermarket. This is a hobby car, only using it in week-ends. So a week passed as time, but in fact in one week-end I installed sensors, them in following week-end one...

Help on consumer rights - faulty part returned to UK shop

No doubt the part was faulty, have a look on attached picture. Pin 4 is missing. I did not address manufacturer warranty, only asked paddock as seller to deliver a height sensor with all 6 pins in place, like the second sensor that works fine on my car. Basically I want only what I paid for...

Help on consumer rights - faulty part returned to UK shop

Thanks for advice, but I don't know how to bounce a payment. Anyway I will not do it, is a about 70 pounds spare that failed, from a total of 700 pounds order. The rest of spares were fine, I used them, so this looks an extreme measure. I sent them clear notice, twice, like in which.co.uk link...

Help on consumer rights - faulty part returned to UK shop

Told them the magic words few times, seems they don't care. This was a very bad experience that I didn't think it can be possible. I only hope that this will not happen to somebody else and this bad experience will help others to be warned.

Help on consumer rights - faulty part returned to UK shop

I rate Paddock one star on Trustpilot for not solving my issue in more than 2 months. They replied that I forgot to fill an RMA for one month. It is true, but they forgot to mention that they remember about that RMA only after my chassing mails... This made me quite angry. So, I announced them...

Help on consumer rights - faulty part returned to UK shop

Looks that I am unlucky with Paddock, now when more than two months passed. From links you shown me, I sent them a letter asking them for refund or replacement. they replied: Hello, Unfortunately, we are unable to do anything. The part has gone back for inspection to Land Rover as it is a...

Help on consumer rights - faulty part returned to UK shop

I am still hoping that this issue happened because their small mistake and they will correct it once noticed it. Still looking forward for their answer. But of course, if they will ignore my request, hope is not the case here, I can always mention them about biggest UK LR forum.
