Hi all does anyone know what the terminals are on the base of this old flasher unit I have + and I and K and S 4 terminals in total it’s a nice unit and I’d like to use it if possible

In this case it was mechanical damage to the insulation caused by it being trapped when the car was built

that is very true , as I say though I don't thinks quite enough sometimes and as a newboy here I was just hovering the pointer over forums and was most perplexed as to why there was no immediate quicklink to a recognizable landrover product , and when I did click forums all I saw was "community"...

fuse kept blowing intermittently, traced it to the wire for the vanity mirror light (the supply for the light in the mirror in the sun visor) but the one above the Drivers visor (redundant in the right hand drive model,but the plug and wire is still there in side the head lining). it was trapped...

I'm a trucker and a series landrover driver so I'm on your side. I would rather you were going a bit slower than me in the truck so I can overtake you in less time ,so I'm not looking like an arse sitting in the middle lane in my truck as car drivers like to put it "taking 5 miles to overtake" ...

Very true I've seen land cruisers (sorry) with all the wheel studs fractured at the base through over tightening and two actually fallen off. Non engineers can't always feel when they've reached the elastic limit
