Me too. Thanks for rescuing it. Agree with the picture comment. I got round it via Tapatalk, but preferred it before.

    Series 3 New tilt recommendations

Will see if I can find them. They were from a company who make them themselves. Think they were called hingeandbracket. Oddly always very difficult to search on eBay. Never comes up under hood sticks. But does if you search seat belt bar and the 'other items' if I recall. Will try that now and...

    1976 series 3 rebuild

I run black and silvers on my '79. Not strictly speaking legit but makes other drivers aware of its classic status and more tolerant of slower speeds I find. I've had police cars directly behind me on several occasions and never been pulled. Fortunately they have much bigger things to worry about.

Will give them a call and discuss then. Jo huge rush. It's garaged so can afford time for a bit of research.

    Raptor Dash on a Series

Many thanks. Im very pleased with it. I had toyed with the idea of painting the panels in body colour but quickly decided that would look horrific. Likewise the black anodised panels I think fit better in a series than the brushed ali option.

    Raptor Dash on a Series

Gear lever position is not ideal but to be fair I've probably only used the middle seat half a dozen times in total and even then they had to sit with their legs to the left of the transmission tunnel. It's also just taps the ball of my overdrive lever if it's pushed forward

Just found it. And they do them in black. Think that might be the one to have.

Are the exmoor ones larger then? All the ones I've seen look a bit small. Was thinking of getting AWT to quote on a black one with larger window if poss.

    Raptor Dash on a Series

Probably should have done the same myself. I kept searching and searching online as I was convinced I was missing something and it should come out easy, but no. You have to dismantle half the vehicle to get to it. Presumably whoevers bright idea it was to hide the front two fixings under the...

    Raptor Dash on a Series

Many thanks. Nice to see you here Land Raver! V8 is currently half built in the workshop. Last job I did was to soak the cylinder heads to degrease them. They're still soaking months later. I tend to do garden projects in the summer. Restored a couple of ponds, redid a load of borders. Lots of...

    Raptor Dash on a Series

Bought my raptor dash last Christmas. No rush to fit it until I removed my truckcab top at the start of summer. Previously my stereo and speakers had been housed in a roof mounted enclosure. Finally found time to fit it today. Thought I'd post a thread to help others and to record my...

    Series 3 New tilt recommendations

Many thanks. Been talking to AWT via ebay. Apparently their canvas and likely all their other fittings come from the same suppliers. Had a look at exmoor trim site but didn't find it great. Couldn't see black. Will look again later. And yes. I have everything else. Currently running open top...

    Series 3 New tilt recommendations

Hi all Been running my series 3 topless all summer but now need a full canvas top for it. Have been reasonably happy with with my Exmoor 3/4 tilt with the exception of the straps rotting. I want a full tilt in black with side windows. Alternatives seem to be All Wheel Trim or UnderCover...

Whats happened to the Landrover.net forum.

Hello Folks ! Nice to see a few familiar names. Great shame that the landrovernet forum has gone. It was the only one that I belonged to, and I had loads of stuff on there. Mostly it was great resource for info but I also used it to save my ongoing threads and refer back to the many useful...
