Need to change sump again on my 2.2 I've had sump off few years back and there was no gasket only silicone and I put silicone back However people have told me there should be a gasket and no sealant Which is the correct way?

Just had a quick look and the bearing is in bits so must have broken and then the halfshaft was worn down due to it being on angle with the wheel

Im after top hinges for front doors on series the old type preferably with hole for mirror

About 2 months ago when halfshaft went oil was clean when i got it out today no bits of steel

I was in the field next to the yard so only had to drive a short while

Afraid of the wheel coming off

The wheel is fine its the part where its stuck to thats wrong

Camera on phone is broken but i pulled half shaft and the flange and flange side of halfshaft have been worn down to nothing but wheel is more of a concern at the moment
