Any one suggest companies that are happy to insure TDI conversions? I have a military 110 with a 300tdi and my renewal quote has gone from £200 to £340. Nothing has changed, it's been a TDI for years, so I think a change of insurer is on the cards.

I have a 1986 110 and the fuel tank has sprung a leak. Rather than replace it with a brand new steel tank I was wondering if the plastic tank off a scrap 300tdi Discovery will fit? Does anyone have experience of this and what else needs changing to make it fit?

Did Land Rover fit cross drilled input gears to any of the LT230 transfer boxes? I have a box out of a 1995 Discovery and had assumed that Land Rover had got their act together by then, but I'm not so sure now.
