Hi folk, been in for diagnostic, points to fuel rail sensor, got one ordered reasonably ok to a certain level, how much required to remove for replacement, and what side is it on, thanks.

Driving to work a few day's ago no heater, **** straight into near servive station, water running out from bottom tray, bought two tins of rad seal topped it up and drove to work, heater toastie, water down about 250 ml, topped up, drove home, down about the same, next morning, saturday engine...

Wee bit of repair to the old rust bucket, that's the top shock mount doing it's stuff again.

so damper detached, usual rotten chassis, cut the area flush, and plated it, just need to attach top bracket somehow :) Not the prettiest of welds but strong enough, got a plate for inside and bottom also

Rebuilt the landy, was looking to get the head skimmed, anyway as mentioned the head had internal cracks so I put on an other head, slight problem, ordered a 3 hole gasket, thicker, think its not as responsive, candidate for a remap I think

Is there a lot involved, just cost me £100 to be told my head had internal cracks, sound about right ?

Oh well this is interesting, 6 hours on call at the hospital, now making a start on getting the cylinder head off, drained oil and coolant, no pressure in pipes but no leaks either, big smoking exhaust yesterday, oil deff had sludge at end of drain, water in the oil no doubt,

Ok after careful consideration of symptoms its head gasket time next week, I'll get a top end kit, with exhaust studs, get the head skimmed, and I should be looking at a new jeep. Happy days, was thinking of something newer but its too good to let go.

Something is not right over the last few weeks there seems to be a fair bit of light haze on startup then clears but this morning the haze drifted like a cloud, as far away as about 20 feet and lingered, I drove to work and for the first mile I could see smoke / steam or whatever, when I got to...

Friend has got these for sale for £200 plus the trims, is this about right, fancy the more modern look and is this upgrade a fairly straightforward job!

Ok I'm going to have to tackle this, the pins must be half thickness, and I have to lift the door when closing, are their any shortcuts for fitting say new pins, or is it a big job ,?

Question, nearside mirror defrosts, and rear screen defrosts, are their separate fuses for each mirror, oh and is it a temperature activated mirror heater OR do they come on with rear screen heater, thanks Ian
