High folks, probably one for wammers. As you all know my block is cracked and am just wondering will another engine just plug in and work or do i need to reset things. If its a load of faffin its up for grabs soon.;)

Engine gone in the old girl so. Thinking of going for something a bit bigger that will slot in without to much hassel. So what are the options if any.

P38 dse alternator fault message came on and after about 10 mile and a couple of stop starts of engine in between the engine just died. Would not restart but had loads of battery power. Eventually started with a jump. Turned off and tried again without a jump, no joy. Would a duff alternator...
