    Towing electrickerys question

I can work google ta,was hoping more for a pointer or two from someone that's done it for where to tap into, for example can I run the fridge power pin straight off the battery or does it need a fuse?

What have you done to your Landie today.

Got the rear door to open so I can actually use the boot through the door instead of lobbing everything over the back seats then having to climb in the back to retrieve any of it

    Towing electrickerys question

Evening, hoping someone can help me out? Recently bought a 1998 Disco 300Tdi 3dr,going to be towing my wobblebox with it fairly regularly but the Disco has only got the black towing electrickery socket fitted.Want to put a grey one on too for the other plug from the caravan but don't know how to...

What have you done to your Landie today.

Changed rear discs and pads along with both sets of rear wheel bearings, which led to me discovering that the o/s caliper piston had seized solid so changed the caliper and brake pipe seeing as that was also seized into the caliper.Happy days!

Disco 1 Not sure which bit is broke

Couldn't get in with the mole grips, big hammer and chisel did the job though  I replace any nuts and bolts I remove with new ones, the old ones are normally shagged or rusted to buggery and for what they cost it seems daft not to.It's pretty much a certainty that I'll be taking it to bits...

Disco 1 Not sure which bit is broke

Been doing exhaust at same time so was gonna try it with diff lock on when back end was off floor to finish exhaust.Thought dropping the front prop while doing front section of exhaust would be simples, what a stupid thought that turned out to be  still, you live and learn

Got six of the eight nuts off no bother, thought it was all going rather well until it remembered it's a Disco and the last two rounded off  ran out of light so the big hammer and chisel will have to wait until tomorrow

Disco 1 Not sure which bit is broke

Evening all,not sure if my front diff or transfer box is on its way out,had a read on here and it seems it could be either,is testing as easy as removing the front prop and driving it to see if the loud whining goes away or have I missed something?

What have you done to your Landie today.

Crawled underneath it to remove the plastic wrapped round the prop then swore at it a lot when I seen the sump is seeping oil. Was happy enough when it was just the back of the transfer box marking its territory every now and then

To be fair I don't really carry a lot of weight in the barge most of the time, it's usually full of kids and they're not that heavy yet ha ha the Bearmach Blues sound good for what I'm after, thanks for the comments and opinions chaps
