    I've a 1988 90 with an original / period 19j turbo engine The usual bad starting ,smoke and spewing oil out the breather In days gone by these engines were seen as boat anchors and would be replaced with a tdi Are they now worth saving as there can't be too many left with the correct engine

    Series 2 Series 2a galv chassis

    Series 2a was rebuilt about 10 years ago and done a few hundred miles since ,last motd 2016 Had a new galv chassis ,new bulkhead (not galv) new doors ,fairey over drive ,cat flap Running a 2.5 diesel sherpa engine (smokes a bit on start up) Runs and drives well 9k TD11 scottish borders
