    Mine has the same lock as the cubby and no it doesn't actually do or lock anything.....strange......also the plastic clips that retains it in position will break if you breath on them.......the aftermarket ones look good but don't get why you would want cup holders right at the back of the car

    You need an Allen key not sure what size.. But in that little hole there is an Allen screw

    Oil and filter change almost cross threaded filter housing lid.....but got lucky

    Fixed drivers seat squib tilt on a 3 door....you can do wonders with a bicycle brake cable and an electrical connector block

    Egr valve bypass and 2 new inter cooler hoses ...like driving a different car amazed at the difference

    Also found it to be loose where the gear stick is attached to the linkage ...pulled away the 2 rubber gaiters from inside the car took the bolt out put on two washers and put the bolt back in its made a massive difference

    Ok now had the chance to have a look underneath it appears to be loose where the long linkage/rod joins to the arm that goes into the gearbox looks like there is a rubber bush is there an up rated alternative for this and does anyone know the size of the pin ( I think that's what it is) that...

    I have done a search but cannot find a definitive answer I have on 02 td4 3door the gears seem a bit floppy is there any adjustment at all ...I emailed someone at bexhill freelanders and he reckons mine has cables not rods is that right ?
