No not necessarily. Bulbs deteriorate over time. Newer bulbs will take a slightly higher current/voltage but will eventually burn out. I would put a meter on the lamp plugs and see what voltage you are getting. If it's to high then there is a good chance the will blow as well and sods law...

Just installed my new pioneer mvh - X 560BT head unit. I has a rear usb connection for and Ipod so had to find somewhere to fit the Ipod so that it could be used but secure / out of site and easily removable. This is what I came up with.

Not sure if it's the same noise but mine was squeeling until I lifted the hand brake a little then it stopped. Read online to pull hand brake up 1 notch then stamp on brake peddle 3 times. Sounded odd buy gave it a go. Now no noise. :-). Might be something completely different but may help.

Not sure if this is the right section for this but. Previous owners of my TD4 used the boot to transport a rather large dog around. It smells like they never use to clean the car or the dog. I have taken out the boot carpet and would like to replace it. Any ideas where I can get one cheap...

Does window drop to allow you to open when you use the handle?. Had a similar issue with mine, I found 2 connector that fix to the glass that I had pull off by accident when changing wiper motor. Started working when these were reconnect. Just a thought might help. :-).

You would have thought a large easy to access window would have been the easier to do. But mine to more time and tint than the other put together.

Thanks, JRNORWAY. Made a good saving dojng it DIY was quoted £200 to have it done by a pro. Did it myself for £20 + a few hours on a sunny saturday afternoon. Result :-).
