200tdi engine and a few other parts

Unfortunately I don't have any history for it other than what I know. I bought a 300 discovery that someone had put a 200 in, the guy I bought it from reckoned it was like it from factory, however I was sceptical as it was a 95 M. In my ownership it won't have done 10k. Last year the head gasket...

    Official Off Roading Fails Thread

My first trip to frickley, it was a cold november day and i'd been there 3 minutes... Last words before this were "i'll easily get through there with these new tyres on, watch this" Not me but a friend at robin hoods bay, this was his second and final attempt to get up

    Front and rear trailing arms??

I personally had no troubles fitting both front and back arms, the hardest part I found was twisting the axle for the 6 degree part. As your using new arms then you don't have to worry about getting old bushes out. Are you using standard bushes or poly?

    side pipe help

Don't buy one of those...I made the mistake of doing so, then tried to modify it to make it fit and in the end threw it away and got one made. The best way is take it to a company and get them to make you one. Mine cost me £120 and when he did it he lifted on the sills so the rear end hung then...

    Suspension lift?

I run 285's with a 4" lift (2" lift and 2" spacers) so its all suspension. I run plus 5 shocks on the rear. I also run 30mm wheel spacers and the arches are cut as far as they can be with 50mm arch extensions. I still hear them catching on the rear on a good full flex. I've no idea how ppl...

Mud Tyres - pics if poss - not your usual!

How do you manage to run 285/75 with only a 2" lift? I run that size with 4" lift and they still catch on the rear arches on a good flex?

Wide angle front prop or td5 cardan double jointed?

Then that's the way i'll go, just wanted to know which would work best. And I've followed your build thread, awesome truck. But mine isn't a challenge truck unfortunately so can't just keep cutting, i'll run out of arch, lol.

Wide angle front prop or td5 cardan double jointed?

Wish I had done to start with however, that would also mean getting new front arms and I can't stand the gaps left between bumper and body. And it's more work to then sort that problem out.

Wide angle front prop or td5 cardan double jointed?

I know this thread is a couple of months old but I can't seem to find a definitive answer anywhere so I'm hijacking it kinda. I run a disco 1 with a 4" lift. It has 6 degree fronts arms, cranked rear, wide angle rear prop and until last night a d. carden front. However it decided it no longer...
