Finally cut drop arm and it came off now fitting new one the spline is different it sits in a different place to the orininal one and on full lock hits the panhard is it the wrong drop arm I have thanks

I've been looking at the drop arm conversion to discovery drop arm but what is confusing me is it says only suits 4 bolts steering boxes why would it not fit a 3 bolt box thanks

Had an oil change on it recently On transfer box and it was full of gloopy horrible oil as found that breather was missing so it's not had a nice inside for a while could this cause it so replacement would be a good idea

Didn't have noise before I changed seal I've done it to correct torque, how would I check if its prop or uj. Also could I have knocked seal in to far

Yes found that out as was doing it ive put the same seal that came out

No did not touch outer bearing just the seal when took apart all I had come out with flange was dust shield and washer/between nut and flange no spacer And yes re filled diff with oil

Rear diff was leaking so took off prop and flange and changed diff seal. Put everything back together and tightened nut up to 130nm now I have a loud whining coming from the back sounds like its coming from the diff can't see what I've done wrong!! Any ideas thanks

Trying to refit panhard rod on my defender just can't see how to line it up to push the bolt through can get it in one side but not the other and vice versa Any tips or tricks for this thanks

Started getting a really anoying squeak from some were cant pin point it its around the front sounds like its inside but guessing it out side as it squeaks when driving but as soon as I take foot off accelerator it stops Does anyone have any ideas or best way to pin point it thanks

Ye your right not good enuff for a full day and unfortuanltely yarwell is another 30miles away for me long journeys in mine are not the best
