I recently changed the oil in mine and refilled with the correct type MTF. I wasn't really expecting any change but the difference in gear changes is great. Much smoother and quieter. I always had trouble selecting first, now drops in without effort.

I've swapped my D2 from air bags to springs on the rear and need the setting in the SLABS ECU changed to stop the compressor from running constantly. Can anyone help?

Could you have 3D printed the Audi style honeycomb? You may have had to print it in 3 pieces due to it's size.

I'm halfway through a similar conversion. I bought a 110 HCPU, sold the bed, bought a CSW tub, moved the rear screen then cut the rear section of roof of the truck cab as it's rounded and bought a donor roof to chop the front off. Then I used 15,000 rivets to join it all back together.

I noticed out of the corner of my eye, that the interior mirror displays degrees C and degrees F momentarily during start up. I've done a little digging around online and can't find an answer. Can it be converted to show outside temp rather than the compass direction? I realise I already have...

This was a transmission ECU fault. £390 later and it's sorted, although the car has been sold on now.

Thanks for the reply. I spoke to guy today and explained the symptoms. He seemed to think it could be a transmission ECU fault. I will try the calibration procedure and report back!

Will drying it out fix the central locking locking fault?

Aha! I did empty the spare wheel well out. I dried it as best as I could but it probably was damp. Where does the water come in? Has it damaged a body control module or something?

The back doors on my 52 plate Vogue will lock but not unlock. I am assuming the grease from the factory has dried out and needs stripping down and cleaning. Has anyone had dealings with this? Also the drivers door has just started playing up with the same symptoms.

I made one recently. 100 amp relay operated from a switch which also switches on a voltage meter so I can monitor it. I've also wired the relay from the D+ on the alternator so the relay will only switch on when the engine is running!!

I wouldn't fit spark plugs into a Tdi!! I just ordered and fitted a kit from Ebay. Cam with air, oil and fuel filters and 4 glow plugs for £22.65 posted. Bearmach filters too.

Not saying it's a good idea, but I took mine off a filled it with petrol and burnt it all out. I may have also blown some compressed air through it just for fun:flame:
