    oupps,beeing a p38 owner nowadays ,I managed to mix eas with sls, my friend said she had a "lowrider" when she came out this morning , she didn´t hear the compressor run so she thought perhaps a fuse had gone.

    yupp , but I also ment , that the slightest touch of the throttle when doing around 55-70 will change the whine at once , i would think(not being a mechanic) , that something very small and fast revving is faulty

    the mecanic at the lr-dealer is an enlishman so i thought ... ;) it changes at once when you touch the throttle , worst when driving around 55-70mph/90-100km/h no whine when decluthing (?) .

    another source of starting problems is the diesel return hoses between the injectors , if leaking ther will be air in the fuel system , fitted new ones one my 1998 , and now "she" starts fine everytime-

    doesn´t open at all , I tried to push the button down , tried to unlock with the key from outside , everything except the interior "dooropening handle" works fine , is it possible that something has frozen ? don´t think so really because it works fin from the outside but..

    After fitting a new radiator and a new hose(the triple one fromthe headertank) I went for a cruise in the snow today , but when I came home I couldn´t open the drivers (lhd) door , works allright from outside , and the c-lock works as it should , but when I try to open from inside nothing...

    ordererd one from paddocks , let´s hope the new 3-wayhose and the new radiator will take me trough the winter , otherwise there may be a bmw or a vw passat on my driveway soon .

    My p38(diesel) has developed a leak somwhere in the cooler , looks as if it is in the lower region , is it as easy as it looks to change it ? loosen the hoses and then just lift it ? are there any plugs that may be leaking ? regards from Sweeden
