    Rear wiper not working

Similar problem. Removed and stripped the motor, which then seemed to work without a problem, but it still didn't work when back on the door. The problem - The wire had snapped in the "hinge" bit after 20 years of opening and closing, so I managed to make quite a long job out of a simple fix!

    Bloody wires on my 309TDi

Same Problem - Not Resolved... I *think* the wires disappear into the security unit ( which had been bypassed before I got the vehicle) and this linked into an alarm system. As the security system is disabled it appears that the light has gone the same way. (I have checked voltages and...

    Defender door lock

Had the same issue - Door would not open - randomly and every time "I fixed it" it jammed again at a more inconvenient time. Finally stripped it down and lubricated lock - and it has not jammed for the last three months. ( But it is probably now plotting in the garage...) Paul

    300 Tdi Interior Lights

Hi Have a 300 Tdi - with a bypassed alarm system (Presume one of its many owners had an issue!). The interior lights do not work automatically - I assume they are wired via the Land Rover Alarm - which isn't working. Anyone know (short of re-wiring the lot) of a fix? Secondly there is a...

    Hello - From the Pennines

Thanks for that - have two winter tyres on the VW and never got stuck. The 110 was good in deep snow last year, but stopping in deep snow was interesting... I presume the treads just filled with snow. Not sure I can afford a second set of tyres - any recommendations for winter tyres if I go...

    Hello - From the Pennines

Finally got round to joining after lurking for answers!. Have had a Freelander (TD4) - which did 130K before it moved on with an interesting transmission noise, Discovery (TD5) which we had for nearly 10 years and was up to 145K when it moved on, a CSW 200Tdi, erm:eek: which wasn't so good...
