do you know if the pickups are the same in 4.0 and 4.6
i have also been told its not the throttle position sensor as if you rev softley its ok its only if you put your foot down hard
apparantly the ecu is done but it still has the fault
the bloke who is looking at it has asked if the fly wheel on the 4.0 and 4.6 are thepick...
its just petrol, as far as im aware thats all diagnostic says and ecu is origonal,
has had full engine over haul, cylinder heads were removed...
Hi i just bought a hse it had becm fault, i replaced the becm and key now its starts and everything works, it now wont rev very well it will rev...
i it not under warranty
from this i might stay clear of the v8, cant afford probs on them, i spent well over £1000 on the dse
some people say stay clear off 4.6 as head gaskets go alot is that true
