They are the same,may have some extra military bits which you can remove
I think they are bigger and heavier than a sankey
I don't think it will look as nice a sankey behind a series
300tdi defender has the same length bell housing and input shaft as discovery
200tdi lt77 has the short bell housing
The only difference I can remember is the gear stick
You can fit a defender gear stick with the adapter from Ashcroft
The original drum handbrake works very well
Never needed to up grade
Will fit just need a Ashcroft gear stick adapter
