You don't say which vehicle but many such bolts are just bi-hexagonal so a 12 point normal socket/spanner does the job.
Fan is bolted to the engine side of the VC with 4 bolts.
You can't remove it without removing the VC - even if you could undo the bolts it can't...
Your choices are genuine, aftermarket or used.
