Those nylon looking blocks you mean? I can see a lever type thing near them.
I've cleaned the tank out this morning, just 'varnish' which wiped out easily.
Pump is a VDO, found it marked on the sender. Lots of rust scale...
Why are those pipes that shape anyways?

Discovered that all the brake pipes have been renewed from the driver's footwell back except for the fancy curly ones each side.
I also realized...
Fuel tank is out and decided to remove the exhaust at the same time. I've tried to save the driver's side silencer/tailpiece which is in good nick...

I can't get the in fuel pipe off so I've done the test with the filter removed.

I used a long breaker bar, just enough room to crack them and finish off with a ratchet. Passenger side was harder as the wheel well metal hung...

The fusebox does look very clean so maybe it is a new one but petrol?
The relay for that fuse is present though.. feck knows.
