Hi Richard, just read your in depth 200tdi conversion into defender and thoughraly enjoyed it as i am at present fitting one to my series three only i have gone down the route of taking the turbo off and saving myself a lot of head scratching and having
a 200di instead, one question i would like to ask you is regarding the fuel tank filter wich i think is different on a petrol (finer gauze ) and doesn't allow diesel to flow through it as fast as it should causing fuel starvation, have you had any problems with this or did you change it to a diesel filter ? i have not got to that point yet but would love to hear your thoughts on this, hope you dont mind me p/m ing you, regards, Pete
