  • Hi Crashbox,
I am told by various Land Rover enthusiasts that you are the oracle when it come to Series 2 history! I have a 1959 Series 2 SWB registered on 01/12/1959 as WJF 22 now 831 UXE. Chassis number 141000988. It has the electric regulator and fuel pump mounted on the bulkhead which feeds the Solex carb. However it has a 2.25 petrol number 151007889 and the mechanical pump is not connected. Is this likely to be the original engine or has it been replaced do you think?
Thanks very much for your help
