i think you will struggle to get the £1100 realistically i reckon about £900...if it had a winch you may have got the £1100..
the rust you describe dont sound drastic but my mates been quoted £600 to do two front inner wings,boot floor,and sills

Dont think the price is bad especially given teh new tyres. I would think a good 200 engine should fetch 250 - 300 as lots of people are looking to retro fit into older land rovers now.

have you got a haines manual ? sounds like you might have a bad conection between the fuse and the problems . i am affraid i am not up on disco's much (a die hard deepender man myself ;-) .
your best bet is to start a fred on the disco forum there are some very knowlagable disco guys out there sure someone will be able to put their finger on the problem
