Ok will do will i still need to get them if i'm dunna replace the front bumper with a winch bumper as that will have recovery points already on it but not sure about the rear bumper so should i get 2 or 4. And what about steering and diff guard's are they needed for laning?
you can never have too many, but you can have not enough. If one fails and youve got another happy days, if not, how you getting it out?
I had a steering guard and diff guards. They got some use in derbyshire where i lived for a while! Not so much round here, but diff guards are cheap.Steering guards are dearer and take ground clearance away in some cases.UP to you to weigh up uif you need em.

Ok i'll get some on order have ordered a few bits so i can make up a snorkel and new air filter the disco cut out on me twice today could not get it started again had to use a bit of easy start both times i'm putting it down to getting it wet yesterday and on monday so hopefuly new air filter and snorkel will sort that out. And now accellarator is sticking feels like its getting harder to press down and when its down it dont wanna come back up any idea's?

Sounds like a new cable is needed.

Check the throttle linkage is free and get some wd40 sprayed onto it.

Also make sure your Mat is not stuck under the pedal. :D

I sorted it today where the throttle cable has the little rubber where it attaches to diesel pump was frozen have cleaned as good as i can have oil'd it up and so far today has bit ok needed it today as needed precise throttle movement as unintentionally been drifting the disco today and if it had a stuck then i'd be needing a new disco.

allo dan hows things, still got your classic i should be getting a 90 soon so we should all get out and do some lanes.:rolly:
Alright mate.Got rid of me classic, got a new flat and it was getting a bit of a pain to get through the MOT.On the hunt for a disco now i think so if ya know of any gis shout!

i'm looking to hook up with some of you too this year, as i went out with a group last year. Want to explore a few more lanes. Just got to do a wheel bearing and hope it gets through another MOT. I take it rear wheel bearings are pretty straight forward with no silly tools needed on a 200 disco. Must be nearly 15 years or so ago since i did a wheel bearing on a car.

It's about time someone posted on here again as we was pushed out to page 2.
Right who's up for going out 20th or 21st of Feb
