Linking compressor to gas cylinder

Going to paint my landy but only have a 50 litre compressor which won't be big enough

Don't realy want to spend hundreds on a bigger compressor just for this

Ive got a 47kg gas cylinder, has anyone linked the two together to increase capacity ?

I painted mine with a 25L compressor done one panel at a time HPLV devil bliss with a 1.2 nozzle.. In a make shift tent in low light, it came out quite nice I thought..

Thats straight out the gun not flattened & polished. :):)
 
You should be able to use a bottle linked up, i would have the spray take off teed between the two tanks, if you do it get some pressure in to the tank turn the valve off turn it upside down then open to clear out any left over gas as it is heavier than air, if that makes sense.
 
The only way I know of using a gas bottle to increase amount of air was to connect 2 small compressors to the bottle but that was years ago we did that...
