After a bit of help pictures ideally

does any one have or could take some pics for me of where the seat belts and buckles mount on a landrover 90 truck cab 1984 to be precise)

it came with poor bucket seats and harnesses got standard seats and seat belts to fit but I really am struggling to work out how they mount

Any pics much appreciated

Not near the motor….
Look by the door opening for a threaded hole, this is for the top seat belt bracket.
Straight downwards the inertia part bolt
Then the buckle is by the outer part of the seat.
(If you don’t get any photos remind me Friday when I’m home)

Lovely job cheers I feel the belts and brackets I have are for a later model and different inc the buckles

May not be much use, but only pic I have :
1984 110.
Shows the top mount for both sides. As @Hicap phill says the inertia part is straight down from there.

Thank you they are different on a truck cab

the ones I have came loose in a box and they are definatly from a newer defender and two of the brackets I have identified and are for a van back

Mines a '94 but may be useful?

Thank your for the pics , so tonight I realised why I have been struggling an over seat of aluminium has been bolted over the top once removed revealed the corrosion hole of where seat belts used to bolt, looking on yrm they sell panel repairs , so bit more research needed before ordering

Just bear in mind that although you have a huge hole in the floor, the seatbelt should bolt to a bracket under the floor that is then (from memory) bolted to the chassis. It is not just bolted through the aluminum sheet.

Yea just about to order repair panel and correct brackets from yrm that’s my months spending money gone
