I use the scraper blade on the digger to pop tyre beads

i have the luxury of a full blown tyre machine behind my 4 poster still doesn't do land rover wheels though

Gave the rangie a bit of a wash and then took she who must be obeyed to a garden center Oh it is a great feeling to potter along in the sunshine with the aircon set just right and wave to the peasants as we go by.

I will have to remember that 1.
I used the trolley jack and ratchet strap last time I did a bike tyre.

Yesterday drove it 700klm round trip.
Nothing to report out of the ordinary .
Will say potholes are harder to dodge in the dark so will check tyres tomorrow.

Topped her off with oil.

I had to use the EAS kicker twice today. Bit miffed as it has been mostly good for a while!

For some reason the eas threw a hard fault,got home charged the laptop and cleared it,touch wood all ok now.

Don't know Keith,first of all loads which was down to bad Comms just cleared the lot when I got good idle haven't been out in it since,I hope it knows it's on the naughty step.

It's a good idea to log the faults, if you have a repeated problem but with mostly a different fault logged each time, it may well be the driver pack playing up. Hopefully it was just a glitch that will not be repeated.

Hi all,

Just to butt in and in not in order backlog since purchasing the vehicle a few months ago:

• garage review
• change of bonnet and boot strats
• changes of alloys (turned out to be an adventure in itself :/)
• wax and inside deep clean
• LPG servicing
• a few green laning trips (plenty of scratches to serve as proof :/)
• two separate trips re non-working rear sensors to the garage - still not fixed, not going back to that garage again...
• trip to south of Wales with a little bit of green laning
• loads of fueling up
• a few trips for work
• second attempt at paperwork with the beloved DVLA
• finding solution to music AUX issue
• fixing sun visors
• a number of skip runs & transportation of bulky items

Found a drip from the rear diff and then these 2 commandeered the boot.

Yes will do, hopefully just a glitch, probably due to me washing it for the first time in four years

Brilliant! Never occurred tome just take them to work and do them

Fitted the wheels back on and finished the wax oil underneath

Are they dimpled discs? Looked everywhere for some but could only find slotted & grooved

You put the jack part on the bead close to the rim, then ratchet strap the whole lot down to the frame of the trolley. then jack it up.

Can be a bit of a faff getting it all lined up but it works. Search U tube you will find loads.
