Front bench seat

Hi ive searched online and on the site but cant find any info is it possible to fit a bench seat in a landy in this case a 90 pick up ive seen 3 individual seats so is there a reason why a bench wont go in?

Then it would also prevent you from accessing the battery under the seat.

Hmm, should be easy enough to make it removable though?

What benefit do you think a bench seat will give you over the three individual seats, you certainly won't get any more room! with all three seats fitted it is effectively a bench seat anyway in terms of your ability to put things on it, and as mentioned the separate seats allow you to access battery, toolbox/fuel tank, and gearbox inspection panel without having to remove seats.

Only real advantage is a personal one i think itll look a lot neater and if im in the battery box etc then ill be able to remove seat completley for more room/better access

Seat belt fixings will be a problem as they are between the seats...

What about the seat backs? You might struggle to get something of suitable height to provide any head restraint. Likewise, your insurance company might not be impressed. I’d stick with three individual seats.
