L322 Fuel leaking...pls help... what is this?

Looks like the fuel filter to me., those pipes need replacing or cutting back and reseating if there's enough slack in them.and the electrical plug needs unplugging and the orange seal reseating to keep any crap out of the connection

ACTUALLY THE PROBLEM IS THE DAMAGED ORANGE RUBBER....SO NOW I DRIVE WITHOUT ANY. NO SEAL AT THE MOMENT....AND YES, STILL LEAKS, NOT SO MUCH THOUGHT...

The orange rubber should be pushed back into the connector with the plug disconnected, it just keeps muck out of the connector nothing to do with the leak. Try cutting the pipes back, someone may know the inside diameter pipe you need. I've got a P38 Diesel and don't know about the L322.

Could also be the O ring on the sensor housing

From RAVE
Incorporated into the fuel filter is a fuel pressure sensor. This sensor measures the pressure of the fuel being delivered
to the high pressure fuel pump. This enables the ECM to reduce the fuel injection quantity at excessively low inlet
pressures to the point where engine speed and rail pressure are reduced accordingly. The volume required at the inlet
of the high pressure pump is reduced. This makes it possible for the inlet pressure to the high pressure pump to rise
back to the required level.
At an inlet pressure of < 1.5 bar, the high pressure pump can be damaged due to inadequate fill.
Another pump protection feature is that should the inlet pressure difference between the inlet and the return fuel lines
≤ 0.5 bar develops the engine can stall suddenly.
