I have a l322 td6 gearbox was changed December just out of warranty done by previous owner unfortunately but after 2 wks buying driving I could go 2 miles or 10 miles and steering seems to goe little heavier once steering feels heavier when decelerating feel ever so slight judder and trans fail safe comes on thought even tho box had been changed I'd clean transmission oil cooler and pipes just incase wasn't done proper by previous garage put gearbox cleaner additive in followed instructions and dropped sump and filter fine particles on magnetic pad nothing I'd be concerned about on any other vehicles I've done like I said changed filter and oil for dexron 3 as recommended now the car can go were use be 10 to longest journey 50 miles doesn't matter if it's short journeys or long journeys sometime last all day but as soon as I feel that steering go little heavier once I decelerate after that feeling slight judder under braking then trans fail safe but I don't feel any type of slipping while driving and changes feel silky smooth ???
Thanks for any replies in advance

DEX III is the wrong oil for the GM box fitted to the L322. The correct fluid is Texaco Texamatic ETL-7045E, very expensive:eek:
