Discovery 2 Disco 2 Td5, 2001 non sunroof, 1/2 chassis replaced

The time has unfortunately come for me to sell my Disco 2

2001 pre face lift
131k miles (will go up as still being used)
I have owned it for around 3 years, I searched high a low for a good condition ore face lift, with no sunroofs and low miles and had the same lady owner for 9 years, totally standard example.

I travelled 8 hour round trip to pick her up, since Ived owned her it’s had the following

5 steel rims
5 all terrain tyres
1/2 chassis replacement and RCP
Front wheel hubs replaced
Stage 2 remap by TD5 reborn (180bhp)
Straight through exhaust
De EGR
Heavy duty Front seat cover
Front steering damper
Terrafirmer rear shocks
Extended wheel arches 50mm
Snorkel
Tubular steel front bumper
Heavy duty steering guard
Headlight guards
Engine oil change
Diff oil change
Gearbox oil change
Transfer box oil change
Fuel filter change
Air filter change
Headliner removed, cleaned and painted

I have receipts for most of the above and I will include a foxwell diagostic tool if we agree on a sale price.

this has not skipped a beat, it’s my pride and joy and with no sunroofs the half chassis replaced will last many many more years to come.

Out of interest, what did those mods do for fuel economy (exhaust, deEGR etc)? Any idea what she does now?

There’s a few more pics, I will get some interior ones ASAP as I’m working away at the moment and just posting the photos I have stored on my phone.
I’d say it gets 30+mpg on a run and 26-28 around town

Did you do the chassis yourself? What did you treat it with (painted galv?). How much of a bitch was that job, just out of curiosity!!
