after doing some minor work on my l322 2004 4.4 v8

my last job is now come the rear suspension seems to sit higher than the front

I’ve set to its lowest mode then highest and back to ride height but still seems high at the rear. Any suggestions also what’s the best diagnostics to buy for these any recommendations as I know there is a few?

What work have you been doing?have you left the wheels hanging?

No nothing like that , air flow meter replaced , xyz switch cleaned , steering wheel buttons removed to clean up and refit

I’ve had the car for two weeks and it’s been like this since I’ve owned it but now you mention it the car has 3 brand new tyres on it so I wonder if they’ve damaged the switch

Are you sure it’s not low at the front;).

We have the IID gap it’s expensive but good (2011) there are others that cover yours that will calibrate suspension, Some are a lot cheaper, think inpa bmw diagnostics is mentioned too but not sure it does suspension.

My Foxwell has calibrated mine many times but it is the older NT510pro, I believe the newer NT530 works but some have had issues with it as have Snapon diag owners.
Have you checked against this table to see which are out?
If the suspension is working then probably just needs calibrating

I have the BMW 1.4.0 scanner but have only used it to recode an LCM, I tried the inpa but it won't work with dongle for BMW scanner :(

My self and @dwarfer ( yes he`s still alive spoke to him couple days ago) have the nt530 and all it managed to do suspension wise is stuff it up, on the other hand BMW inpa and the correct lead did adjust heights on 2004/5, knowing which buttons to press is the problem as its not obvious.
