Don't try to overdo it. It causes microclots so you're going to at increased risk of heart attack and stroke for a while, even after you feel better.

But do keep moving around as it was staying too still that led to the thrombosis in my left leg. Never seen my doctor's surgery move so fast in its life!!

Turns out my vehicle battery is goosed. Just noticed that the clock hasn't moved. Guess I know why it lost sync, but now I guess that means I need a new battery since it'd have to be absolutely dead as a dodo for the clock to stop.

The loom in my scrapper is AMR6057 but I have not found connectors in the A post, can you post a photo's

MF31-1000 Battery-Megastore. Fully charge whatever battery you buy before fitting it, then check the alternator is actually charging at around 14.7 volts.

I tried them before, unfortunately my alternator doesn't keep them topped off. I'll just get another of the same on there. Been on since 2014, so got my monies worth. I think I killed this battery because it isn't maintenance free and I forgot to check the level, so I was running it for god knows how long with the fluid so low the plates were exposed. Lesson learned. I guess I could try the battery electrolyte tablets, but I imagine they don't repair damaged plates.

I'll have another look tomorrow, I couldn't find any connectors when I looked quickly, If it's the same you can have it for the cost of postage. How many connectors are there on the door side?
Sounds like your alternator need a voltage regulator update Less than £15 and an hour at most to replace it.

That'd be amazing.
I had to fight mine the first time I got them out, they both won't come out together so I had to push one backwards with a screwdriver while I pulled the other. Probably other ways to do it, but now I can just jiggle them with a finger.
On the door side there are:
Tweeter
Mirror
3 into door out station
2 speakers
Door mechanism
Window motor
Puddle lamp

From the top of my head at least, so 10. I think door side beyond the mirrors which can differ, the only difference was HK speakers which had an additional control unit in the door.

I had looked at uprating the alternator, but it has slipped down my list of priorities. Unfortunately these days I am running my P38 on a shoe string because we built up a lot of debt trying to keep Socks alive and with some quality of life. So beyond priority jobs, nothing is getting done to the old bus.

Was down my mates earlier and tried his steering wheel and his comes out loads further which explains why I struggled to get at the screws and to manoeuvre the clocks out. Just had another go at mine and with a good wrench I've pulled it out to the max. Bloody loads of room now , feel a bit silly but happy. Thanks for that.

Got in him, drove 20ish miles to the petrolheads meet but it had finished. Got back in drove 15 miles to BILs and did some gardening. Got back in with plants and assorted garden stuff, drove 15 miles home.

Couple of noisy EAS compressor spells, but mostly much quieter, EAS pumped up and down perfectly, everything just worked, including sport mode kickdown to blast past the gaggle of bicyclists on the country lane.

Still showing just over 15v charging at start up after standing overnight, but also battery voltage before start at 13.6 so going to change the meter battery and recheck tomorrow.

Need to check the left rear brake - slight skirling noise at times and rusty staining on the wheel so something is not quite freeing off, hopefully just a slightly sticky / dirty calliper body / pad / slider pin. If not and it needs the seals doing then will get the trusted mechanic to do them and the bleeding as it looks like a bit of a pain single handed on the drive.

Finally replaced the microswitches in the drivers door mechanism. Two days on and fingers crossed, no jumping door locks. Hateful job trying to get the damn thing out but £12 instead of £270 for a new one...

Good shout the other day by @kermit_rr . Changed the voltmeter battery - now showing steady 14.4v charge rate and 12.8 instead of 13.6v as static prior to starting.

Thanks for that idea. So used to stuff that gives a low battery notification it never occurred to me. New 9v battery in the meter, tested the old one - 6,92v. Explains a lot!

Did another tip run this morning then filled the tank for the week ahead. £88 for 200 miles... grins per mile 'millions'

Pictures of the loom, hardest bit was fiddling the flexi tube out of the door, with the speaker removed it's not too bad.
It looks the same, if you want it I'll get a price for the postage which is all I want.

I think that was how I got mine out when I was trying to replace it with the wrong loom. I only got it half way out when I realised my mistake.
That looks about the same. If you could that'd be amazing. At least then I'd have one less thing to worry about.

I'll pack the loom up and get a price for the postage, I'l also have to check on the need or not for a customs declaration. I'll get back to you ASAP.

Well done, jumping door locks can be attributed to the tailgate button being full of crap if the fault returns.
