(First, apologies for being a newbie. I've been on this forum before, but can't remember my login details.)

I've started fitting a Wipac LED kit to my 1987 Hi-Cap. I started with the sidelights, which work absolutely fine on one side. The other side is fine on sidelights or main beam, but the sidelight goes out with dipped beam.

The headlights are halogens with integral sidelights. Dunno if that makes any difference, but they always worked fine until I swapped to LEDs.

What am I missing, please?

Behind the dash, is there a pink relay ?
This is the Dim Dip relay, it dipped the headlight when you were on main/high beam, no longer a legal requirement.
Halogens are not positive/negative sensitive like LED's
Remove the relay and jumper together sockets #2 and #8 with a short piece of wire.

I can’t see a purple relay. Would it be behind the instrument panel?
