Refurbishing my 1997 defender 300 TDI

Looks nice! The current wheel and tyre combo don’t work in my opinion. The Landy would look better with white steel wheels like the Wolf rims, together with 235/85R16 tyres to fill the wheel arches better. Or 265’s if you want a bit wider. But it’s your Landy, go with what you like.

Back from final paint, going for MOT next week after chassis cavity wax and underseal

Defender passed its mot Friday, I'm now waiting until Friday 1st Oct to put the tax back on it, just chassis cavity waxing and vehicle undersealing left then final full valet and hey presto were completed

Well, the old girl needs to return to the paint shop as we've identified a number of issue (sanding marks in base coat, thin / dry patches of top coat and swirl marks), I know it's only a defender but its "my" defender and the paintwork is the first layer of protection against the elements, paint shop have taken it in today with no quibbles

I've passed the remedial paint work,
Drawing to a close now final testing / check before I collect in March
Can't wait

Annoying niggle, second injector from the rear the spill return fitting is leaking, awaiting new copper washers to resolve.
It always boils down to a 50p item

Looking for some discreet aux lighting for the front (flood or spot) anyone got recommendations ?

Minor niggle on shake down, Leak off fitting leaking (He He He) on rear most 2 injectors, new copper washers sorted
