L322 How to add apple carplay or bluetooth connection?

Hi all, looking to buy an early l322. BMW td6 era so 2002-2006? and wanting to update the entertainment system to be more modern, nothing online is that useful either chinese head units that are stupid expensive and a bit **** or people just saying its not possible.

Saw some double din kits on incartec.co.uk that look like they have everything id need to do a swap, has anyone got experience with these kits?
If its not possible to change head unit id at least like to add bluetooth or an aux port but have no idea where to start with that.

Any help appreciated

Not that easy or cheap, have a wander over to fullfatrr forum, L322 section, in car electronics, quite a bit on there.

IMO it's easier if you have the basic headunit in a HSE, much more difficult with the later touch screen one.

I use a FM receiver in my P38, works a treat. You can find them on ebay, I even saw them in Tesco last week. Only £5 ~£10.

But keep thinking about one of these, if only it had a Micro sd card slot.
