Hi All,
Does anyone recognise this chasiss which I am helping a freind get rid of. He thought it was a series 1 maybe 107 (need to measure) but the Bulkhead outriggers look wrong to me. There is the Holes/Guides on the drivers side for the Clutch and Brake shafts but not one for the Master Cylinder. Yes the rear crossmember is missing.

Any thoughts???

It is a bit rusty there i will attack it with a wire brush etc and see if I can find one. I am sure this is an interesting chassis thanks for your comment

Has anybody got a S1 109 Chassis Drawing please? I have the 86,88 and 80 but can't find the 109 anywhere thanks

The series 1 chassis had curved bulkhead mountings to accomodate the pedals.

Series 2 has straight bulkhead out riggers

Finally looks like I am making progress. I think it is an 80 inch. I was informed it was a LWB but having measured it and reviewed the 80 inch frame diagrams I have they seem to match, It appears the 80 had straight bulkhead out riggers and the curved ones look like they were introduced with the 86" in 1953. So whatever I have it dates before 1953.
Thanks for your comments

Should you find a chassis number I have a list of numbers and can possibly identify what model it is from. Whatever it is from looks well worth saving for someone's restoration.

If there is a Chassis number, could you apply for a V5 and build a vehicle onto it?

Could it cause problems for you or someone else if another vehicle with the same number built onto another chassis is already on the road?
