Hi, I am new to the forum and hoping this is the place to get an answer to this question, as I can't seem to find out.
I just bought a 2006 Sport 2.7 and it has twin fog lights at the front, I'm not sure if these are factory or if a previous owner has added them?
Either way, I really don't like them one bit

I'll try attach a photo

Thanks, Andy

Welcome,I don't blame you they look bloody awful.;):D

Aftermarket:eek: and no not to my taste either.
Hope the PO didn’t butcher the original holes or it’s gonna need a new bumper too:(

think l320 & 322 all pretty much had single round ones flush fitting.

These were actually a Land Rover accessory , indeed bloody aweful

So indeed as mentioned if they haven’t cut the big hole out for the fogs u might not need a new bumper, depends if they’ve butchered it

this is what it should look like with the fogs, if u intend to also fit some spot lights this is what I’m going to do to mine , alas I’ve got a discovery 3 but very similar

im got tto fit my nudge bar and the new spots I’ve just got, just placed them inside the A bar to show what they will roughly look like

hope that helps a little, plus included a link for u ref part numbers but please shout if u get stuck

they were? good god what baffoo thought they looked good:eek:
If that’s the case maybe the bumper will be ok;)

indeed, pretty sure they called them light pods, also seen something like that on a face lift freelander , for the life of me I can’t find them , but do remember seeing these light pods as I was looking for wiring diagrams for me , but I’m going to fit a full nudge bar, then cut out the bumper for the fogs

Indeed might be lucky and not been wrecked behind those pods

Thanks all that's a big help, new bumper doesn't matter either way they're going can't stand them.

Wheels getting sorted back to original & I've fitted a gloss black grill to match the side vents should start looking better soon.

I'll keep posted with my progress as I'll need to find some original fog lights and the bezels they sit in to correct it.

Thanks again

Hi @Andy86787

ur more than welcome, always a team effort , if u get stuck plse give us a shout as plenty here to always help u

https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_...+rover+sport+front+fog+light+bezels+&_sacat=0

plus powerful 4x4 do lights , bezels etc

alas my D3 is very similar to ur RRS , so know all about the wiring , looms etc , but I’m just doing something different with mine , ie fitting the fogs in the same place as urs, but then my spots will be mounted onto my A bar

oh and here’s a parts list for u

http://new.lrcat.com/#!/12129

Hope that helps

looking at the second pic backing plates? Right hand side 2 & 4 looks like the original hole/ bumper used so may be good underneath:)

Now you mention the hippo I seem to remember seeing some, didn’t look as bad on them I guess otherwise I would of picked up on it;)

J

indeed , when the fog lights arnt cut out on the bumper they have an outline on the inside to show u where to cut the hole out, plus 1 , fingers crossed the OP can unbolt the lights and hopefully will just have a big enough hole for the wires to pass through and not been hacked

yes ur right ref the facelift freelander 1 ,

plus I’m will be nice to finally get all my A bar and these new spot lights fitted , alas don’t know how bright they will be , few specs which I must admit don’t mean anything to me with regards to lumens etc
